This is not quite a Ping Commish issue, more of a question for the GB regarding a rule in the Constitution.

I know we cant trade players that were just signed as a major league FA. But, what if that player is waived and sent down to AAA before the season starts? Is that player now eligible to be traded since he was put on waivers or does the rule still apply? The player in question was put on waivers during Saturday's one-month sim, just before the Rule 5, so there was no chance to put a waiver claim in or else I would have.

I believe the role would still apply, but that is an interesting little twist.

I would like for a sim before Rule 5 to leave an in-game week before the Rule 5 so that when we run the Rule 5, teams cant sneak a player through waivers while Rule 5 is going on.
