Rule 5 Return in DFA / claimed off waivers

Had the same thing as happened in this thread to Catur Layar... first time I had a Rule 5 Return, so wasn't sure if they kept the ML contract. As such, I DFAd him and he got claimed on waivers, which I wouldn't have done if he was returned with the minor league contract.

If nothing can be done, not that huge of a deal, but figured I'd bring it up.

I'm cool with it. How does that work though on rule 5 returns? Let me know, I'll need to get him off my export rotation.

Are UMEBA teams allowed to claim guys off of BBA waivers now?

I have noticed they have been this season, I imagine all of their waiver priorities are behind ours (at least they should be).
