The waiver snafu

Post by bschr682 » Sat Jun 29, 2019 7:58 am

So what’s the plan? Have everyone re-waive? Or have the teams who were gonna claim people reach out?

I snuck 8 people through and I know some of those guys should be on other teams right now...

How will waiver priority work? Are we going off current record or last seasons record?

This is from the OOTP manual.....
If more than one club in the same subleague claims a player, the club currently with the worse win-loss record gets the player. (If fewer than 31 days have passed in the current season, then last season's won-lost records are used for this purpose.)
… I do not think we modified that specific to this league. But I haven't paid close enough attention to know for sure.

Hypothetical scenario:

Let's say a guy happened to make an idiotic rookie error and send a guy through waivers he shouldn't have, can I... err .. some guy still work a deal to trade him before the fix and not lose him for nothing?

Thank goodness it's only hypothetical. Like the hypothetical mob lined up outside South Pacific Field.

I knew I'd make mistakes. I just didn't think I'd make so many so quickly.

Just wait until you've been here for 20 seasons and you still make them.
