MEX FPL

Post by Rubaboo » Wed Feb 13, 2019 11:21 am

I exported for the FPL. I have 4 dudes on my reserve roster. If the game complains because I have too many players on the roster, please remove the following players:

P Juan Ramirez
C Jose Alba
1B Jose Ayala
3B Lucio Martinez

Thanks.

I thought it was just a straight 27-man roster? No one ever said you could use the reserve roster? Isn't that a bit of an unfair advantage over the rest of us that have stuck withing the roster limits?

Everyone has a reserve roster, I'm not trying to bend any rules as I understand them, but I've had issues in the past with the guys I add to the reserve just getting dumped in with the rest so I end up with too many guys and my team gets AI-ified. As a result, I ping this so that if the reserve roster, which is active and can be filled, doesn't work like it's supposed to I can still keep the team I want, minus the reserve guys.

Yeah we all have a reserve roster. I'm actually not sure how to put guys on the reserve roster. Fred if you could let me know, I'll add it to the FPL instructions.

Sure.

When you're adding guys to your roster from the 'Select Tournament Roster' screen, you can add as many players as you like. When you get all the guys you want on the roster, finalize it. Then, go to the transactions screen and it will show your active and reserve rosters. You can drag guys back and forth from there.

Note:

I've done this the last couple seasons and it hasn't worked. Hopefully, I got it figured out this time and it will work but we shall see.

Yeah you just add as many people as you want (I did 40) then go to the roster screen to set your 27. Up until the last FPL season or so, it wouldn't let you submit your roster if you had over 27, even though I had people telling me that's how to do it. Now you can.

Well... that's a game changer! Lol

Even the AI doesn't know that.

I wish I’d known that before I’d finalised my roster, I could have done with a few reserves to call up during the month

I think you can still add people and finalize again after you already finalized. I feel like I did. Just make sure your main roster is at 27 before the sim.
