First round pick missing?

My first rounder signed with me this sim, and I got the usual email saying he would be in the lowest level of the minors. When I couldn't find him I decided to just search for him... Apparently he is listed as a free agent with no team? However, I can't spot him in free agency either which is even more weird. Images are below.

I left a spot on my rookie league team for him if you want to just put him there and ask manager for lineup.

My top unpaid intern has a cousin who knows a guy who used to date this girl who has an uncle in Libya. The uncle swore he saw Patenaude drinking an Iced Americano in Libya's sole Starbucks... says Patenaude shaved off his mustache.

I heard he’s delivering for DoorDash under an assumed name, somewhere near Iowa City ...but he grew back the mustache.
