IF - Wilson Andrade ... All right, Now is actually the right time to get this guy. Because (1) he -can- still play at third, and (2) there is now no chance that his 490 PA vesting option is going to hit. I could use the cash, though. And I've submitted him to enough DFA/wavering to get him right motivated to leave.
So, here's the deal. I'll retain 50% salary. You come up with $1. Post it and he's yours.

At the end of Friday's sim, the remaining cost of this year is $2.14M, so at 50% retention it uses $6.2M of cap space, but you pay only a paltry $1.07M in real cash!
