2045 Sacramento Clay-for-Sheep Extravaganza!
Well, when you look at your squad and can't make heads or tails out of it, then you listen to the flagship BBA podcast and the two talking heads on the program, who never quite agree on anything, agree that they can't make heads or tails out of your squad, maybe it's time to start ... flipping more coins (?).
David Simpson -- why rent a mobile home in the crappy part of town when you can secure the most premier airbnb on this glorious planet of ours? He's easily on pace for a comp A pick, but I'd likely want slightly more than the equivalent (but not a crazy town return). Before you ask -- yes, he's still asking 6yr/$162.
Quant Kouros -- I need to move on. I love Kouros and he has a cheap $6m team option for next season, but I need a third baseman who uses a modern leather glove and real baseball cleats. This leaves Kouros available as I have a flurry of guys who can slot in at first base (not as well as Kouros, of course, but...).
SP Tony Alomar -- He's been consistently above average since coming up into the BBA with Wichita. He's a quality left-hander on the last year of his contract. Another likely comp A candidate (or B)...in that range
Nude Zeitler -- or Knud, but I wrote nude as I know my audience and I know you're a bunch of perverted old freakazoids... He has a $5m team option for next season... as solid a number 4 or 5 as you'll find and he's been healthy for two seasons now.
Needs: Outfielders who don't have bricks for feet. A third baseman. Wins against Hawaii. Weird looking prospects. Hitters with negative power. Wine for my wife. A cattle prod to use on my sons so they shovel the damn driveway already! Chicken fried rice. Unhelpful advice. Marie Kondo to come to my home and help me decipher what sparks joy. A new sweatshirt with the Mad Popes logo on it. Contributions to my kids' 529s. A 1980 Topps Dale Murphy card (mint). International complex guys with potentials that will never come true. The ability to time travel back five days so I don't eat 193 Christmas cookies over that time span again. My old Border Collie back who passed ten years ago... I still miss you Spartacus!

Shoeless, you have moved up in my rankings of "people I might not kill if I got to decide who lives" simply for having a border collie named Spartacus. I'm sorry for your loss. We have a mostly border collie mutt named Atticus. I think they would have been great friends ... or they would have relentlessly tried to herd each other, you know, whichever.

My wife yelled at me today about how much she hates the dogs and wants to give them away...what will a golden retriever get me in return? Your choice of a mature blonde 7 year old or a fiery red headed 3 year old.
