Des Moines - Don Smith Sweepstakes
So P Don Smith could be yours...but for a price.
I'd be looking for a damn good prospects in return and....wait for it....you would need to take 34-Year Old 2B Angel De Castillo and his contract off my hands.
Lets see where this goes.

If anyone has interest but the De Castillo contract is stopping you because of your salary concerns id be willing to take De Castillo by way of a 3 way trade(obviously would expect something in return)

Re: Des Moines - Don Smith Sweepstakes
Trying to think of where he might land. New Orleans has to be the favorite. Tons of prospects, cap space and not afraid to make the big move. YS9 and LOU will probably try really hard but may have a problem juggling the cap hit. Really you could count on one hand the amount of team that he doesn't make sense for. TC and MON could be dark horses.

100% where my head was at, although a Montreal deal would like involve Aldo and I don't see them moving him in-season when they are right in the thick of it.

Ok, kinda knew this would happen, but holy crap offers are rolling in. Not ignoring anyone, just going to take my time tonight to decide and/or counter offer.

I wish to state that Wichita, home of no prospects and no money, will not be entering a rider in this race so don’t wait for us please

I am salivating over the thought of landing Smith. Alas, I could offer my entire farm system and it wouldn't be enough.

If you're offer doesnt make the cut - feel free to send it over in the hopes of landing Dave Lee instead. I'm willing to take a look at least.
