Will trade for almost any player under 21 that has a 40 POT (Can retain salary for teams short on cash)

2B Reece Wareham - On a $4.8M contract and at 18 HR's along with a .368 on-base average. Arm rating of 9 makes him a good defensive option at 3B as well.

Available cheap for insurance against injury or defensive replacements with a a decent OBP
Will trade for any 30 POT player under the age of 21

SS Claudio Defazio - Good glove at 2B/SS/3B on a cheap $1M contract. Typically has an OBP in the .350 range and could be good insurance/bench depth.

Simplifying the block to just concentrate on people with expiring contracts. Manuel Martinez is a prime example of how much their production is being suppressed because the vets are not happy with the team record.
