-- Keijo 'Coach' Reini If you can handle giving up a few HRs every now and then, Reini is your guy! He's a 70 POT when you switch him back to a SP. He's 6th in the JL in Ks (despite more than a few games in the bullpen) and 5th in Ks/9. AND, one more year left before he starts arbitration.

Pitchers:
-- RP José Rivas Need that LOOGY for your Pen? 7/7/5 vs RHBs. Cheap, expiring contract.
-- RP Félix García Two years of ARB left. Much better RP than a SP over the years.


Hitters:
-- C Lorenzo Torres Stone is about to come back off IL and I dont want to send my other catcher back down. (I will, just dont want to.) He's a good back-up, defensive catcher.
-- C Aaron Stone Hard to be sure if he'll opt out of his contract or not. I'm willing to retain his salary if needed. Was having a decent year before he broke his thumb.
-- 2B Kel Bacon Really should be at 1B but can play 2B in a pinch. He could be a useful piece for you.
-- SS/Util Luis Cruz Can be useful - can play good defense at any position.
-- CF Niccolo Machiavelli What's to say. If you are stacked everywhere else and need a reasonable contract for a passable CFer, Niccolo is you're guy.
-- CF Marcos Gonzáles (AAA) Another guy that can platoon against lefties, but still hold his weight against RHP too.
-- RF Sixto Meija (AAA) Sticks around if either Fradesso or Horne get dealt.


Minor Leaguers:
-- SP Jorge Omotunde (AAA) Dont be scared by the low movement; focus on the "Extreme Groundballer."
-- SP/RP Jorge Sandoval (AAA) Maybe a RP Conversion might make him serviceable? If you've got the PPTs, maybe give it a shot.
-- CF Dax Norris (AAA) Dax can hadle the big leagues. Got sent to AAA because he still had an Option year left.
-- SS/Util Héctor Vázquez (AA) Can play anywhere and can run.

You can't eat salary for a season at a time, unfortunately. It's all or nothing. Only thing that is exempt is a team option.

in the case of Ortega I believe the last PO is the responsibility of the gaining team as well, since it falls after a TO.
