OK, I have an offer on the table for SS Robert Menzies. I can't pull the trigger without at least weighing all options and knowing that If I'm trading him, I'm moving other guys as well and looking for a move down the road. So here are other guys I'd have to move as well:

I'd want prospects packages for all of those guys listed above. You can throw a Menzies offer out if you want but it would have to be loaded. It's either an all or nothing move for me at this point. Either I move them all or none.

If the prospect is equal, I'll probably ask for another piece just because you're getting an established player while I'm asking for uncertainty in prospects.

worth noting that pinkerton has 1 year of rookie and 3 ARB years still left. Kim is starting his final season of team control.

COF Werner McConnel, Jr
Need a platoon guy against RHP with some pop? McConnel could be your guy. Has hit 86 homeruns in 2.5 seasons in Portland. I'm willing to retain his salary as well if you need me to.

Not looking to dump these guys but also realize both are FAs and not extremely valuable. But perhaps they upgrade your situation. Just looking for something useful for down the road. Maybe a 50 rated RP or something

I thought my last block was a shot in the dark and suddenly my whole roster is transformed. I could move Andrew Gallagher now if someone is interested in a power hitting 1B/DH option. I still have a spot for him so it's not just a cast-off. But could possibly down-grade in talent some if anyone has an upgrade for me at CF, SS, 2B and would want to add Gallagher to your roster. Has one more year of arbitration left this off-season.

I could aggressively move Gallagher if anyone has a CF upgrade or SS. Would like a good glove there so willing to sacrifice a little offense in the trade if you have something of interest.

Heading into the off-season, Portland has two names we'll be actively looking to move. Very good chance we'll let these guys go for less than equal value.

1B/DH Andrew Gallagher (Projected $3.2 million in arb for 2049)
Had a real down year this year and missed some time due to injury. Hit over 30 homeruns for 3 straight seasons before this year. Has an arb year left next season and is expected to be around $3.2 million. I may low ball him an arb number based on this year's performance and see what happens.

2B/SS Joey O'Brien ($5.5 in 2049 and PO for 2050 at same rate)
Perhaps Joey's nickname needs to switch from "Buttons" to "Change of Scenery" because that seems to be the thought process behind Joey. "Perhaps he needs a change of scenery" There have to be a few teams out there that see O'Brien as a potential upgrade to what they have at SS/2B right now and this is a good chance for you to take a cheap flyer and chance the Joey will perform for your team.

These aren't salary dumps. I'm close to the cap but should be good for 2049. But this is also a chance to perhaps upgrade a spot with minimal cost to you.

Getting an early jump on a couple of pieces we'd like to try and move this off-season.

LF Wilson Alomar - Had a nice 2048 season with a 4.1 WAR. All-Star and probably a top 3 Puckett Award contender in LF this season.

COF Fernando Castillo - Switch hitter who posted a 3.3 WAR. Hit 18 homers AND stole 50 bases.

COF Jeffrey Smith - Only played platoon last season because the two guys mentioned before were playing too good. STill posted a 2.1 WAR. As you can see, I have a logjam with these 3 guys and need to look at moving one of them.

I'd like to either acquire a solid starting pitcher option, Centerfielder, or prospects for one of these three. Probably look to move the one that lands me the best deal.

COF Fernando Castillo - Currently injured and has a team option for next year. Switch Hitter with value. Could move him to bring on a big salary piece.

COF Jeffrey Smith - Signed a 4 year extension for roughly the same price. Will likely see more playing time next season in Portland if he's here. Again, I have one too many high priced COFs and could move one in a salary move if you want to add a COF for next season.

Other Notables
1B/DH Andrew Gallagher - Having a great 2049 and just moved back into the lineup. Free Agent at seasons end. I'll gladly share his contract demands if he's a piece you want to go for.

1B Ricardo Yanez- Another free agent at the end of the season. Willing to share his demands. Has struggled this year so his demands have gone down. Platoon type 1B who has lost his spot due to Gallagher.

2B/SS Joey O'Brien - Why not!?

Prospects
Jiao-long Ma - Our top prospect. Willing to move if there is a deal that will help improve my team this season.

Tynan Potter - A solid hitter. Not sure the defense is ever going to catch up for him to be a BBA catcher though but we're going to hold out hope.

Any body really in a farm is expendable. But good luck finding someone of value.

Bump. Willing to make a move if there is one to make. We are up against the cap but I'm willing to make a big move with one of the 3 COFs if there is a move out there.

Over the next 2 days, while I debate what to do with Catsillo, I will actively look to trade 1 of these 3. If I can get a "decent" offer for one of those 3 I'll look to make a move. And, honestly, I don't know what i mean by decent so feel free to make an offer on one of those 3 if you have the interest.

LF Wilson Alomar - Has been a consistent force since coming to Portland on the good sign of the platoon split.

COF Fernando Castillo - HAd a poor regular season but had an ungodly post-season. MVP of the Doubleday and Cartright. Had a good Brewster series too in the losing effort.

COF Jeffrey Smith - Highest rated of the 3 guys on the block. But has a negative platoon split. I"d love to give him more of an everyday shot, unless you want to trade for him.....

We have some chips we'd like to potentially move in a deal. We need a little roster flexibility at the moment and these guys are somewhat expendable right now if there was a trade to be made:

P Antonio Garcia - posted a 1.0 WAR last year in relief and a 1.3 WAR as a starter back in 2046. Been up and down throughout. Makes $1.1 million with 3 arbitration years left. Maybe a 4-5th starter for teams needing a pitcher.

P Juan Martinez - 1.0 WAR last year after back to back seasons of 2.7 and 2.8 WAR. Former all-star. Could possibly be moved to a starter if you want to put a 3 stamina guy in your rotation. Signed for this year and 2 more after.

RP Felipe Vega - set to come off the IL in 2 days. Missed most of last season with a major arm injury. Good specialist candidate. 800K with arbitration left

2B Stephen Geloran, Jr - We have enough options now up the middle we can try and let Geloran go if there is a team looking for a speedy, power hitting 2B that will strike out alot. $850 with arbitration left

Our most important needs are a short sided COF platoon guy who can hit lefty pitching who doesn't cost a fortune. Or guys with options.

Have some pieces we'd like to move.

I have a ton of solid relievers and fringe starters I can move. Could move any of these guys for some 45-50 level prospect you're not too high on that maybe I am. Still wouldn't mind to add a platoon OF who hits lefties.
