2039, Las Vegas Hustlers Deadline Block

Post by recte44 » Wed Aug 14, 2019 10:36 am

We need another SP if possible. Would also be open to a reliever or two, and perhaps an infielder and/or CF.

What's available? Lots. Honestly open to trading ANYONE if it makes sense for a Landis run, but these are the most likely guys to be moved.

Big Leaguers
SP/RP Wayne Jackson- solid lefty swingman.
SP/RP Ryosei Akahori- needs a shot at starting. Rebuilding? This guy could be a nice add.
RP Tony Medine- He gets lost in the shuffle in our pen. Will re-sign for under $1M.
CF Tom Rudge- Would only consider if it was part of a SP and CF upgrade.

Prospects
BNN hates our system, I think that's crap. We don't have the blue chippers but we have a ton of future big leaguers.
LF Girolamo L'Archibudelli- Only for your top flight, true ace, with a club-friendly contract and/or you take Ridder or Flores.
C Alberto Rodriguez- With Perez solidifying the catcher spot for years to come, Rodriguez is expendable. Damn near ready for the big leagues.
SS Jesus Yan- Would need a real nice return. He's ready now and I think he's a hugely underrated prospect.
RF Declan Hounsell- Really nice outfield prospect who can hit and is an outstanding defensive player. Was also going to give him a look at third base for versatility purposes.
SP Rafael Flores- What if Mauro Flores had better movement? That's what we think Rafael will become.
SP Elias Gregory- A SP spec with good stuff, great movement and outstanding control? There is one?
SP Gerald Abbott- Like Gregory, but the "lite" version.
SP Jaime Sanchez- BBA ready back of the rotation starter or dominant multi-inning reliever. You choose.
SP Raul Garcia 7/5/9 POT as a starter, better as a reliever. Easy to dream on this kid. Apparently he's my #25 prospect. Makes sense.

PM good, Slack better.

Promoting a guy with a 1 or 2 rated 3rd pitch as a SP prospect is more than a bit disingenuous in my opinion...
