PS. He looks like a nice RP conversion candidate to me with 5 pitches. I could see him being a 9/5/8 vs. LHP after that.

Chris Klein had an 111 OPS+ last year and only makes 2.2M. I gotta assume there are teams out there that would consider that an upgrade to their current 1B or DH situation - at a minimum as a strong side platoon option.

I also added Adam Parrish. 3.4 WAR combined the past 2 seasons and only making 4M this year and next.

Again, I'm not looking for a ton of any of these guys. Opening roster spots is my primary intention in any deal.

Klein realized my worst fears and is refusing a demotion. I moved some things around to keep him on the 27 man (so that I didn't lose him for nothing), but am extra motivated to move him now.
