Calgary Trade Block

Looking for prospects, would like a nice SS guy. Could also use a young catcher that has some power for the bench.


We have some extra bats that are ready to play. Would like to swap for younger guys.

1B Rupert Grant (7/5/9/6/4 Ratings, .264/.325/.508, 401 HR, 1123 RBI) - Get one of the premiers power hitters in the league. His $ will be less than those guys in free agency. He will drive in 100+ runs for you and probably come back with a big season. Has 2 years left on his deal, will earn out.

LF/RF - Santiago Sanchez (7/8/7/6/8 Ratings, .291/.354/.520, 43 HR, 151 RBI) - This lefty power hitter is still on his rookie deal. My problem is that I have too many power hitter corner outfielders so I need to move one.

LF/RF - Rafael Solis (7/9/8/6/5 Ratings, .165/.240/.341, 4 HR, 8 RBI) - Ready for the BBA. Big power numbers from this right hander.

1B/LF - Mauro Garcia (7/6/8/6/6 Ratings, .263/.346/.452, 21 HR, 60 RBI) - Right handed power. Looking for a place to play everyday. Only got used as a platoon player here.

1B - Ellis Curran (7/7/8/6/7 Ratings) - Lefty power looking to break into the BBA. The last lefty 1B prospect I traded was Miguel Saurez who was the Gillstrom winner this year. We know how to raise them here.

1B/OF - Lenny Cockram (8/8/1/2/10 Ratings) - 9 contact and 11 avoid K against righties. Can’t understand why this lefty hasn’t generated more interest. Problem is I have Marin so no place to play him.

Need arms, we have those too. Including SP

CL - Jason Morris (8/6/9 Talents, 40 - 48, 3.70 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, 425 K) - Long time Calgary closer. Very few closers on the FA market this year. On last year of his contract.

SP - Noonien Soong (6/6/10 Ratings, 49 - 56, 4.50 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, 518 K) - Lefty starter, one of the best control guys in the league. Willing to extend for $4 million. Where are you going to get a lefty starter this cheap? With my young guys coming up someone needs to move to make room for them.

SP - Mike Bragg (8/5/7 Ratings) - This guy has bumped and is now ready to move up. Not looking to move him, but will for a younger version.

SP - Carlos Guzman (7/8/5 Ratings) - This guy has great movement, no homers here. Ready for his shot.

SP - Francis Wiles (7/6/7 Ratings, 2 - 5, 7.93 ERA, 1.79 WHIP, 43 K) - This guy could start or would be a good reliever conversion.

SP - Jorge Ferringo (6/6/7 Ratings) - Could start or convert. Still really a prospect, but ready.

SP - Fabiano Lopez (7/6/5 Ratings)

CF - Robinson Trujillo - Probably 1 year away

3B - Francisco Cortez - INT prospect, but have several 3B guys

SP - Manuel Ferreira (6/6/2 Ratings) - still needs development
