-- SP/RP José 'Frankenstein' Rangel. Still only 23. Hasnt hit arbitration yet. He pitched a no-hitter only a few starts ago. I've got a couple of guys in AAA that I want to see what they can do.

-- 1B/2B George Lee 'Sparky' Anderson V He can still run and play a decent defense. He'll help that popularity and is a Leader in the clubhouse. He has a vesting option that vests at 135 games, which I dont think he can hit even if he plays every day for the rest of the season at this point.

-- 2B Manuel 'Zap' Martínez (6/4/4/6/8) One year on his contract with a year of ARB after that. He can play defense, and can play almost anywhere but CF. And, he can run.

And let me add...
-- 1B Mario 'Toxin' Deórtez. Apparently Texans dont like Nashville BBQ. Or hookers. Not a bad extension for a couple of years, especially if he plays like you would expect him too, with a fairly cheap Opt Out after two.

A few of these guys are just prepping in case the next few sims don't work out too well. Some are harder to get than others.

I know there are at least a few guys on the list now that would help in your playoff push for this season and next, and maybe more!

Don't necessarily look for them on waivers though cause they might not end up there. Come check out the Kids!!

If you think I'm going to be drinking and let this slide you don't know me. I hope you get stuck on a week long trip to Djibouti in the middle of the summer.

No thanks. Three days in March was plenty.
