Twin Cities uncertain
It's that time a year again. Hurricane is coming. Current radar has the eye passing about 40 miles west of my house. So all should good. If I disappear it's most likely power issues.
I'm more upset cause my mother in law was supposed to fly down for a few days so we could got to St. Pete to see a concert on Thursday. Our first night out without baby in 9 months. Mother nature with a swift kick to the nuts there.

Re: Twin Cities uncertain
Everyone here is safe with minimal house damage. About 4 fence panels down and many others leaning, pools screen popped a screw and came off the concrete pad a little(had to go out in the middle of it to put bricks in front of screen door to keep it from blowing off, a piece of soffit trim blew off, and just a lot of tree debris all over.
I think the eye passed me about 30 miles away as a category one. It either slowed or made a turn cause we were getting steady 60-100 mph winds from about 11pm - 7am. Power still out as I am just now sitting in my car recharging phone.
Electric company claims they will have power restored within 24 hours going in order that it was lost. Pretty sure we were abnormally first as the storm was still hours away. But I don't believe they will go in order anyway. Should definitely be back by Sunday sim I hope.

Oh yeah. Sorry for the lack of updates. We got our power back Thursday night about 24 hours after it went out.BaseClogger wrote: ↑Sat Oct 01, 2022 11:23 pmHope you've gotten your power back and glad everyone stayed safe.
All fences have been repaired and pool enclosure fixed. I just need to get someone to replace the soffit and trim and we'll be back to 100%. I would do it myself but it's over top the pool enclosure, so I'd have to literally hang over the roof to fix it. And not about that life.
Best of all, mother in law rebooked flight for next month so we can retry our one day getaway.

Let the Lumberjacks sweep you next time and they might help out with the soffit.ae37jr wrote: ↑Sun Oct 02, 2022 1:20 amOh yeah. Sorry for the lack of updates.
