YS9 Even Less Attentive Than the New Norm

Post by RonCo » Wed Oct 20, 2021 4:26 pm

I know I’ve been super quiet this past several months. So sorry about that.

A bit ago I thought things were getting better, and was even beginning to get my toes wet around here again. But—to be direct—things are now actually and officially going the opposite direction.

I personally continue to be in good health, but my dad has had a new and unhappy diagnosis and my wife continues to be up and mostly down in her struggle with something we’re thinking is chronic fatigue but no one can seem to tell us for sure. Bottom line—my admiration for nurses, psychologists, and single parents is now officially off the charts.

I know I’ve not been particularly reliable recently. If I’ve ignored you for anything I apologize. I’ll try to do better, but for the near future I can’t make 100% promises.

I’m still around, and still exporting/etc. But my focus is, at present, just not here very well.

I thought your absence was some sort of secret strategy to reverse the Nine's post-season woes.

Seriously, though, it is good you can focus on the important things. The Montyverse will be here when you're ready.

Thoughts are with you Ron and your family, I hope everything can get sorted out. Take solace from the fact that YS9 wouldn't win it all whether you were at the tiller or not ;)

We are all here for you, Ron. Thinking of you and your family. Take care of yourself. You’re no good to anyone if you don’t keep yourself up, as well.
