Sorry I've been quiet of late... lot of things going on.
My oldest son (17) had been sick for a few days. We chalked it up as just a stomach bug. After some intense pain Friday night my wife took him to ER Saturday morning and it was diagnosed that his appendix needed removed. Luckily it wasn't ruptured but it was 6 times larger than normal according to the surgeon. He's not doing well with the pain and may have to stay in the hospital all week. Doc said the size of the appendix forced him to make larger incisions in my son's abdomen area. There may have also been a little of the infection leak out which is why my son still won't eat and is some pain. We are optimistic he'll eat over time and start feeling less pain over the next few days.
Aside from that I've been tied up with things around my house and supposed to take the family on vacation mid week next week. So if Portland stays quiet for a few more weeks, here is why.
