Mumbai poss out

Post by RichY » Wed Nov 25, 2020 4:48 am

So I am still having issues exporting/downloading league files. I never did get it to work on wifi but plugging into the modem directly was working fine for me until this AM and now my laptop isn't recognizing the ethernet cable. I had to buy an adapter because I didn't have an ethernet port so maybe the adapter is junk. I don't know. Obviously an issue on my end but with work today and the holiday it's not likely to be fixed by tomorrow. I will keep you guys updated. Sorry...not for lack of effort. Frustrating.

Sounds like time for a new laptop? Have you tried deleting everything right down to the OOTP program and starting afresh?

Yeah I did that and about everything i can think of/read online. Either the adapter I just bought is junk or a pc issue like you said. A new laptop might be in the works any ways. Going to mess around with it a bit later.

I'd bet you could find a decent lappie on a Good Friday sale. You could deduct it as a business expense now that you're a GM ;)

Haha yeah I need to slip that one by him. Fortunately I found my issue. It was the adapter I just bought two weeks ago. Junk. Drove around this afternoon until I found a new one. Should be ok now. Gonna delete this I guess in a few.

I did the same thing in February. My MAC died after 10 years of fun. I rushed over to the Apple store and bought a new one immediately. Got home, downloaded OOTP again and set my leagues back up. I didn't miss an export.

Long story short. Every one of us is out of our damn minds.
