San Fernando Game Snafu

Post by usnspecialist » Fri Jul 31, 2020 7:23 am

So my OOTP did the thing again where it screwed up downloading the new file and when i go back to the old one it says there is no new file on the server (with the game date being the 18th). Im not going to redownload the entire damn game again, so i will just skip this sim and catch up on the next sim.

On a side note, this is at least the 3rd time this has happened to me with 21, and I NEVER had this problem before.

If you delete the "online_league_file_time.cfg" file from your settings folder you will be able to re-download the new file again regardless of what it says the date is. This happens to me quite a bit.

Another issue also is where the game actually completely closes when it is downloading the new file and then the save is gone. When that happens, I just grab the files from the autosave folder and copy them into the main Brewster.lg folder because typically the world.dat file or others are missing.

It's happened to me twice. Really annoying.
