Huntsville/Chicago heading to Chicago/Wisconsin

Post by HoosierVic » Thu Aug 29, 2019 10:57 am

Will be gone Sept. 7-11.

Need to head to Chicago for a couple of days to help more with clearing out in-laws' house, then taking my wife up to Door County, Wisconsin to get away for a few days.

Will take my laptop, but not entirely sure what the WiFi situation will be at the B&B we're staying at in Wis.

Most of the B&B's in Door County are pretty good from that standpoint. Where are you staying? My wife and I got engaged (Cave Point) and married (Anderson Dock in Ephriam) out there.

Hey Fred - we’re going to Bay Breeze in Ephraim. The reviews are good and the pictures look nice, so we’re hopeful!

Do the fish boil at the Old Post Office while you're there.

As a guy who likes wine more than a little, that’s good to hear!

Arrived in Door County this afternoon - man, what a beautiful place! Resort wifi works well, so should not have any problems exporting in the evening when the wine tasting tours are done ...

Get to Door Peninsula Winery in Carlsville. It's the best one. As an added bonus, they're a distillery too!
