Vancouver travelling 9/7 through 10/9

Post by scottsdale_joe » Tue Sep 04, 2018 8:15 am

I will have my trusty Surface Pro with game and internet everywhere we go, so I should make most exports without problem.
I will be much less active on the boards and team news will be skimpy if at all.

For anyone interested:
We fly to Portland, OR on Friday.
First 10 days at our usual condo overlooking the Pacific in Depoe Bay, OR where we have spent many vacations.
Then driving east along the Columbia River Gorge to Richland, WA and then on to Kalispell, MT (Glacier NP).
Then driving back west to Coeur d'Alene, ID where we will spend five nights.
Then west again to Seattle where will spend another five nights overlooking the water.
Finally we drive south again for another week in Depoe Bay.
Then we fly home.

Jealous!!

My wife and I spent some time in Seattle in 2016 and at the Gorge amphitheater on the Columbia River. As someone who has spent nearly all of their life in a rural area of SW Virginia, I was in awe of the different scenery out west. It was my first time ever in the Pacific Time Zone.

We are already making plans for a return trip for Labor Day 2019. Seattle ranks as one of the top 3 cities I've been to.
