Over the next 5 weeks I’ll be the interim Assistant Principal at my school. Combine that new role with still having to make lesson plans for a sub in my classroom and Coach two baseball teams and I’m not sure how available I’ll be.

The new asst principal’s role is the big uncertainty. I may be more available or less available. Just really unsure. So if I disappear and miss some exports over the next few weeks, here’s my excuse. I’m hoping to not miss exports but if my writing declines that means the AP role is eating my free time.

Yeah I’m not exactly looking forward to it.

My day now consists of: Drive a school bus at 7. Take over AP from 8-3 while making sure the sub in my class has enough work for my students. Drive a bus from 3:15-4:15. Then go to baseball field from 5-8 depending on games/practice. That’s my weekday schedule for the next 5 weeks.

Granted that’s my daily schedule most days anyway but when I’m in the classroom I can build in some free time and have a planning period. All of that’s gone now.
