Which Title Would you Want?
I think I ran a poll similar to this many years ago but we have new owners now and I'm always curious to how our owners fandom breaks down. I'm to the point now to where if just one of my professional teams could win a title that I'm a fan of I'd die happy. I'm looking at you Reds and Bengals!

Landis is so 2040’s. Gimme that Monty though. My pro sports team don’t know I exist, but my fake players do!

While I love it when the teams I like do well, that wouldn't hold a candle to being the one to bring a title to the Nine.

I thought it was apparent that the Monty title option obviously didn't apply to YS9.

Much more of a college basketball fan. Badgers came so close in '00, '14 and '15. The win over Kentucky in '15 was probably the best game I have seen from a fan standpoint.

Re: Which Title Would you Want?
my only remaining box was checked in the 2018 Stanley Cup Finals. I don't fully count soccer, but it would be cool if Derby County ever won another top flight title. This season they are escaping their temporary prison sentence in League One, and will hopefully do the necessary things to finally get back to the PL. But all of that is a distraction from the real prize. Full focus on fake baseball now. No mercy.

Re: Which Title Would you Want?
I’m still deciding what to pick. I’ve been fortunate to each my two favorite MLB teams win the World Series (Kansas City in 1985 and 2015 and Arizona in 2001) and I’ve watched them each lose 1 (2014 and 2023). Those were amazing and I really want them to win again. It might be AZ winning again because I know I could be in attendance for at least part of that like I was in ‘01. Being in the stadium when your team clinches a championship is just an incredible experience.
As an Arizona Cardinals fan, the 2009 Super Bowl was heartbreaking and predictable.
I’ve always loved college football but didn’t really have a team until I married into Ohio State fandom in 2011. That 2014 championship run was magical. Then I was in the stadium watching their playoff loss to Clemson in 2020. That was a rough one.
The Phoenix Suns…man, the Suns have provided so much heartbreak over the years and I don’t even really like watching basketball that much anymore. I’ll watch the suns in the playoffs and I loved them in the late 80’s through the 90’s but I kind of fell out of love with the game overall the last few years. That 2021 run and eventual collapse, losing after going up 2-0 in the finals was rough.
I only got into soccer in 2020/2021. My MLS team is Columbus Crew. I got to watch them win a championship last season. Nobody else I know cares about the Crew, or soccer really, so I enjoyed that but it was a solitary experience. My PL team is Tottenham so trophies aren’t really something they do. (They do seem to be building something with Ange though.)
I got to win a GBC title, so that was fun. And it was Cairo’s 1st ever, which was exciting. But winning the Brewster would be on a different level than that.
So, all that said, I guess I’m not sure but maybe another DBacks World Series.

Re: Which Title Would you Want?
I decided to rank these in order of how I really feel.
1A - Reds (I was only 10 when they won it in 1990. I was alive for it but wasn't to that level of fandom I am now and really want to see them win one.)
1B - Bengals (I probably flip flop between these two now. The SB loss to the Rams a few years ago hurt me. I was feeling pretty down for a week over that one. Still disagree with the 4th quarter defensive holding call. Plus as a season ticket holder to the Bengals now I feel like I'm pretty invested in this squad)
3. Landis/Brewster - I've won two but few remember those times many, many moons ago. Portland has been to two and lost them both. Oddly one of them was the night BEFORE the Bengals lost the Super Bowl.
4. Other - Give me one more Tiger Woods major title!!
5. Washington Capitals - 2018 was awesome. I've not been as big into hockey as football/baseball but have gotten into it over the last 12-15 years. Enjoying watching this rag tag group squeak into the playoff this year but a long run doesn't feel likely.
6. Lakers - Would probably be higher on my list but I don't like LeBron so my following of this team has dropped off severely in the last 5-10 years. Enjoyed the hell out of the Shaq-Kobe years though.
7. Wolverhampton Wanderers - Lets be honest, they aren't winning a PL title and if they did I'd only be able to brag to about 2 people locally that even watch PL soccer. Just not getting relegated is enough for me because it gives me a team to watch on Saturday/Sunday mornings right now while my family sleeps in.

Re: Which Title Would you Want?
After all that I changed my answer. Ha.
I think number 1 would be the Troopers winning the DCI championship. I marched two seasons with them and I was on staff for another season. When the corps made finals in 2022, it was a big thing to me. If they ever found a way to get to the top and beat the powerhouse groups, that would just be an incredible thing to see. I would probably travel to finals if it looked like it could even possibly happen. I might even travel if it looked like they could finish top 3.
This summer, I’m actually going to drive 2.5-3 hours each way to watch them perform in a midseason competition. I haven’t seen them live in a long time.
