v25 Conversion Poll

All right. The new version is out. We've had some conversation about it, and we all know it's going to be a moderately big change. The question, then, is whether we want to make that big change now and get it out of the way, or play it cagey and wait.
Let's hear your opinion.

Ok, Later then. Has a new OOTP version ever been introduced without some sort of issue? Our season will be over before you know it. No shame in waiting till July or so to do the switch.

Both. People buying the new version are motivated to join a league like ours.

Looks like we'll be split down the middle. My iwn view is that I think this will be a fairly big change, and I'd just as soon get it over with.

Two reasons why I'm in favor of switching over: 1) my other league is doing so when our new season starts, next week, so I'll be able to work out my initial anxieties over there; 2) I'd rather roll with changes and see if I can enjoy the ride. As someone who doesn't run test leagues or attempt to do a dive deep into the coding, I feel like going for it will shuffle the deck and possibly level the playing field, for however brief a time.

100% ready to switch. I imagine it helps the rebuilding/lower teams just as much, if not more, than the perennial contenders.

A simple way to look at the adjustment, and this is my opinion:
OOTP ratings have been radically broken since Perfect Team screwed up the internal ratings system. They are now "fixed".
A "6" contact on a 1-10 scale SHOULD be slightly above average.
A "9" or "10" should be few and far between, think Ichiro or Luis Arreaz, or Rod Carew.
Likewise, a "6" stuff should be slightly above average.
A "10" should be very rate, like Aroldis Chapman in his prime, or Bob Feller, or Nolan frickin Ryan
A "6" power should be slightly above average.
A "10" should be extemely rate, as featured in the motion picture "Barry Bonds, the BALCO Years"
