Which teams break out of the pack in the Frontier?

Post by cheekimonk » Sat Feb 24, 2024 11:27 am

With the Frontier looking like I-65 in Nashville on pretty much any weekday, which team(s) will eventually pull away from the pack and duke it out themselves for the Division title (yes, you can pick one team that may take off from the other 7)?

My squad is just too old on offense to keep up the pace. It will be up to me to navigate the roster as it dips and, well, we're talking about me.

I should have gone with Phoenix instead of Rocky Mountain. I think I had flashbacks to 2057

Phoenix all the way. And by all the way I mean all the way to game 161 before falling short of the playoffs like they do every year.

Only defense for Rocky Mountain is we are hanging in despite not playing our best ball. But that also is why we may fall off. Biggest issue is our pitching being terrible on the road. I don't expect them to be very good at home but I need them to at least pitch okay on the road so we can split those games. I guess 10-12 isn't the end of the World at this point but we should be a little better than that from what I see.

Ran the numbers on all the guys who've started games. Home ERA is 4.93 which is probably decent considering the park. Road ERA is 5.66. That's unacceptable. I don't know the park factors of all the Frontier teams but I'd assume just about all of them are more favorable than mine is.
