Spring Training champs to Monty Champs

Will one of the division leaders at the end of spring training be crowned Monty champ when all is said and done? Solid contenders through the first 10 games with Charm City, Rocky Mountain, Twin Cities, and Vancouver leading their respective divsions.

For my money, CCJ and RMO are the two best teams in the league. So I'm going to say yes. Of course anything can happen.

Not sure how we went 10-0. I started all A-ball pitchers and used my patented tri squad lineups where I fill out depth chart with 3 players at each position and set everyone to start every third day. So we had a lot of scrubs getting playing time.

Probably because I started all T-ball hitters.

Nah. And a preseason champ won't win the Super Bowl either.

My scrubs started almost all games. Haney only got 17 ABs (and still managed 4 HRs.) I've got 4 Rule 5 guys and wont be keeping any more than 1.

That's how I do mine, too, for the most part. Helps to give me an idea of who to keep around for fill in duty or gauge if a player is on track and should be in my plans. I try not to overthink spring stats but of an AAAA type hits .100 they're more likely to get the axe if when I pare down minor league rosters.
