Seeing as I’ll already have cap issues with previous cap, I’ll likely stay pretty close to the same. Will allow flexibility and not having to non-tender or trade some people though.

hard to say with this league. we have such a variety of styles.

i'm sure we'll get 1 or 2 mega-frontloaded deals this offseason.

pitching looks thin, so we may see an across-the-board increase there

10 mil wont influence much. The teams with lots of cap space still wont have the budget power to spend that extra cap money anyway.

This is what makes me cynical about the change—without knowing what they have planned for budgets, this feels like it benefits the better teams.

to be fair, it would be pointless for recte to mess with the budgets now. The owners will change them. He needs to edit them after the owners are done fiddling.
