OFFICIAL VOTE: Should Matt step aside as Las Vegas GM?

Post by recte44 » Sun Oct 30, 2022 12:39 pm

Doe to the recent sim error which may have given the Hustlers an unfair advantage, I have offered to step aside as LV GM in order to resolve these thoughts.

It is now open to league wide vote. Majority rules.

I've seen some poor polls in my life, but this one is the worst. Jesus I voted wrong. NO you should stay.

To be clear, a No vote means you stay on as GM and a Yes vote means you leave right? The title of the thread and the title of the poll lend themselves to different answers.

No reason to. It’s just one sim error.

I mean, in order to increase parity I kinda like the idea of “term limits” so to speak, but I also understand the relationship managers develop over time with their teams.

But in this case, absolutely not. This league only exists cuz of commish. Maintaining fair competition is important, but I’d support sanctions or something before taking Matt’s team.

Idk if anyone else is crazy enough to willingly run this league.

Hey bud. I'm thinking that maybe only one of us should do this a year. This was my year. :)

Besides, your unfair advantage gave you a 3-4 record. Imagine if you'd actually cheated - you might have gone 0-7.

I'm not voting in this because it's not relevant to anything. What is the point? Like I would say to anyone else, including me: If you want to run your team, run it. If not, then don't. WHy the dumb poll? You are letting other people determine your choices??

man this is (old) GBC level stuff here. SMH. If you guys only knew what we went through on the old mailing list 20 years ago!
