Second guessing season is here. Who would you select first overall?

Clulow is young and a ways off like Morales. If Brooklyn's intent is to get the number one pick for the next 5 years and bring them up all at once, then I totally get the pick. You can't keep Nebraska down till Morales is ready. And if you bring him up, he ruins your draft positioning. I had that same dilemma with Bouton and Ramos.

I assume that's the plan, as well, but would still take Nebraska in that situation. There's a very good chance Clulow doesn't fully develop and Nebraska is well-developed and would still be making $500k when/if Morales is ready.

I disagree with that last part. Nebraska is ready now, next year at latest. Morales has a good 4 more years to go. He'll be just coming up when it's time to pay Nebraska. That's if he doesn't get pummeled and destroyed by teams loading low level minor leagues with AAAA players.

I suppose Nebraska might be ready now for Brooklyn's rotation, but he would be smart to keep him down until at least May of 2053. No need to rush him along and he'll continue developing in AAA. I would likely keep him down until '54 unless he's fully developed.
