Johnson League Wild Card Scenario

Post by 7teen » Thu Jan 20, 2022 2:21 pm

We are down to slightly more than 25% of the season left. 45-48 games roughly remain on most schedules. The Wild Card races in both the JL and FL are heating up. So what is the likely scenario for the JL wild card situation?

Current Situation
Charlotte (ATL) 64-50
Atlantic City (ATL) 65-51
New Orleans (ATL) 64-52
Mexico City (FRO) 61-51
---------------------------
Calgary (FRO) 63-53 --
Rockville (ATL) 60-55 -2.5
Charm City 59-55 (ATL) -3.0

Just have to assume Rockville gets in there somehow.

Updated. Charlotte and MC have big sims and put a little distance between the teams out of the race. For Mexico City, they climbed from the last team in to the 2nd wild card. Rockville also trimmed their deficit to get in while Charm City slid a little further back.

Current Situation
Charlotte (ATL) 70-51
Mexico City (FRO) 67-52
Atlantic City (ATL) 69-54
New Orleans (ATL) 65-57
---------------------------
Calgary (FRO) 65-58 -0.5
Rockville (ATL) 64-58 -1.0
Charm City 61-60 (ATL) -5.5

Why even make "3 Frontier" an option if you're going to cut us off the standings? :)

So I can get you to comment on how Boise intends to make up the 8 game difference and jump 4 teams.

Thus why I left that voting option open ended with the "please explain". haha

Could still go any way here. Atlantic could take all 4. We could also see a 2-2 split. Mexico City beign tied in the win column with New Orleans I think helps MC's chances.

I'm going to be sick over in the FL. I feel better about NO than I do Portland and we have the same lead.
