This is a follow-up poll to the one started earlier today, but I'm going to try to be more clear with the options. Sorry about that.
There have been recent conversations that the move to relative ratings has not been as beneficial as we liked, so the GB will likely consider changing back to traditional ratings. At the same time, there has been an occasional uprising around using different scales than we currently do. So, while we're talking about tweaking the rating set, let's see what the league thinks about the scale itself.
Today we use:
- Overall Ratings: 20/80 overall ratings with increments of 5
- Skill Ratings: 1-10 (showing ratings that edge over 10)
In the past we used stars for overall and the 1-10 scale for skills. I think the last poll said a majority of folks said the didn't want to change anything. But let's make sure...

And, just to be clear, the polls do not result in me getting PPT.
We're just looking for information.

Re: Input Requested: Rating Scale v2
Wish I could vote more than once lol
If vote for both:
Change both Overall Ratings and individual ratings to 20/80 with increments of 10
Change skills to match Overall Ratings (20-80, 5 point inc)
If vote for both:
Change both Overall Ratings and individual ratings to 20/80 with increments of 10
Change skills to match Overall Ratings (20-80, 5 point inc)

I haven’t seen this many Poles in one day since IFC played an Agnieszka Holland marathon.

We moved from the 1-10 scale to 20-80 at the same time as we moved to the relative rating scale. Since we're reconsidering the use of relative ratings, it's probably good to see what the league thinks about the scale itself. Technically, the 20-80 scale reduces the "fog of war" a bit more than the 1-10 scale, and a 2-8 scale creates even more uncertainty. The 20-80 scale sounds more baseball-like, I suppose. 1-10 is something many are used to. 2-8 is old-school baseball-like, and would make us just a tad more reliant on stats and performance.
