Dang it, Ron, you're killing me. Which ratings set is the poll question asking about?

Re: Input Requested: Rating Scale
Let's interpret it today as "overall" and as I said after you posted this one, maybe I'll try one that's a bit better worded in a few days. Plenty of time to let things simmer

Re: Input Requested: Rating Scale
Darn, I thought this was regarding individual ratings. I say we make them the same...both overall/potential and individual ratings such as con/pow/eye at 2-8.
While we're at it "hide" the overall rating and just leave the potential but leave the individual ratings showing both ovr & pot.

Re: Input Requested: Rating Scale
I should note that I'm 99% sure that the extended scale in v21 is only applicable to Power and Stuff. All others have always been able to past 10 and up to 13 (and still can), but stuff and power plays on a different scale.

Ah, so that changes my vote. Really this is not a big deal to me at the end of the day though.

Oh, I thought this was talking about CON/STU/etc., not OVR/POT. I don't care about the latter. The former should have as much fog of war as possible.

Re: Input Requested: Rating Scale
I voted for the 20-80, as that is what I personally use in all the solo stuff I do. Plus it just feels more real life to me.

Re: Input Requested: Rating Scale
I wouldn’t be for changing anything here. Am for getting rid of relative ratings though.

I'm not voting for anything until someone explains exactly what we are voting for and why. Especially why.
Seems like every time someone gets a burr up their ass, we change something. Sheesh.

Re: Input Requested: Rating Scale
I apologize for my wishy-washy wording on this one. I think the relative rating thing is more clear. That said, we're looking for general input here more than any kind of binding vote.jiminyhopkins wrote: ↑Thu Sep 10, 2020 5:12 pmI'm not voting for anything until someone explains exactly what we are voting for and why. Re: Input Requested: Rating Scale
What I think this response says is that there isn't a lot of passion to change the fundamental rating structure, but I will do one more poll tonight that will hopefully capture that better.
