Doing a quick scan of the results of Opening Week, finds a few fun little performances. Which do youy think is most fun ...
Luis Costello leaves Yellow Springs for New Orleans cash, and proceeds to homers on April 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th. That's right. Four days, four homers.
As Lane noted in Slack, unsung San Feranado backup catcher Michael Garrison celebrated his suprise call-up by drilling a pair of homers to beat Long Beach.
Al Colbert is looking like he's growing into the Nine bullpen just fine thank you very much, registering three straight saves--notable because all three were in two-inning outings.
Las Vegas RF Jim Ashford threw a runner out at home on Opening Day, then repeated the feat a day later. (To put ising on the cake, he threw a guy out at third a few days later, and leads BBA OF with three kills).
