That's true, but if I wanted an 19 year old playing in AA, he'd already be there. :)

I'm fine with whatever at the end of the day. Lace 'em up and go, I say. It's mostly an issue for me because the news was a surprise, but there is also at least some small issue with not having injury replacement depth..which, to be honest, was why I thought we had 30 guys in the minors. Same thing for 27 in the majors. Online leagues are not allowed to make daily transactions, so the extra players are injury buffers. That was always my view anyway. Not sure the topic itself ever really came up since I've been here.

My 60 odd guys in R & SA will mainly be 18-20 Yr old and are there for a reason. I don’t want them playing as injury replacements in AA or AAA and I certainly don’t want to spend ages shuffling players up the system to cover injuries only to repeat the convoy in the opposite direction two, three or four weeks later. We upped all the rosters to 30 to cover such eventualities, why have we suddenly reversed that? And I resent my concerns being dismissed as a non-issue, there are several people in this league that actually care about their minors

The issue is what it usually is. Not the issue itself but lack of announcement.
