Louisville has 26 games left and Kwakou is following up last year's near-Triple Crown season with another doozy...

With all three categories close I'd put his odds close to 40%. That's a no vote for me, dog.
But it's not out of the question.

No, because he and the rest of Louisville need to slump in September so Nashville can squeak in the playoffs.

I really cant wait to see what this kid does in his career. 23 years old. Already has 1100 hits and 230 HRs. If he can keep this pace up - he is on track for top 5 all time player - and maybe even better than that!

better question might be will kwakou win the Silk? We might have a 2012 AL MVP situation here...

How have BBA GMs historically viewed winners? Although, Louisville should make playoffs.

I can not remember how we have handled TC winners, but worth noting that I was referring to Alex Ramirez leading in WAR, whose team actually has a better record than Louisville.

Yeah, I'm pretty much locked in on Ramirez for the Silk. And I'm one who usually votes for TC winners (in my OOTP online league history). Only 4 hitters in modern history (at least in reports) so it's rare and Kwakou deserves votes. But to me, even though Randy is bias, his reasoning is why I'm voting Ramirez.

I'm pretty sure kwakou will still win, but the race will likely deserve to be closer than it will be.
Ramirez would be my 3rd different silk winner in the last decade (gillstrom, Maldonado being the others).

Really? I'd go Kwakou for Sawyer Silk.
I might still as well, but he by no means has a lock on it.

No, it's a good race. But if he finishes top two in all three Triple Crown categories even without winning, it's Kwakou for me.

McBride could very well pull off that same feat.

Truth. Kwakou leads in some other key categories like hits and total bases, too, but McBride is awfully good, yes.

Looks like I stand all alone in believing in him to win the Brewster Triple Crown!

He's pretty good I guess. Nearly beat us by himself in last year's Landis. Everyone knows Borges was the Loserville savior in that one though with his expert sacrifice play in which he's obviously known for.

Well that changed course rather quickly. Kwakou went from potential Triple Crown and 50/50 Silk to no Triple Crown and possible 3rd place in Silk. I hope McBride finishes strong and there's an extremely strong Silk case for him. Ramirez should realistically be leading the pack but BBA voters are an odd bunch.

I'm still voting Ramirez. McBride has had a monster year for a playoff team, but I think Ramirez has boosted a team most thought wasn't playoff worth.
