2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
I can still make 4 sims work as long as I’m on shortened hours, so I’ll let you all speak.

If you're up for 4, I'm sticking with 4. The faster we move this build of Portland the better.....

Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
I'm interpreting #2 as "let recte decide" which I am good with. Also would be curious to see how total posts were affected by 4 sims. If we have a noticable drop off that might be a reason to consider going back, but if it stayed the same or improved than it is harder to use that as justification for going back to 3.

Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
I know I posted a little less, but I don't think it had to do with the 4-sims as much as I found other things to do as oppose to sitting on the forums all day. I still got the FUBAR feature done, got my TNs per sim done (until the end when I had the time just not the interest in recapping another 1-5, 2-4 run)usnspecialist wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2020 2:42 pmI'm interpreting #2 as "let recte decide" which I am good with. Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
Yes, I've completely dropped off, I have to admit. I got overwhelmed with the sims and it just got to be too much. I didn't predict that I'd feel that way about four sims rather than three, but 4 have been too much for me to keep up with.usnspecialist wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2020 2:42 pmI'm interpreting #2 as "let recte decide" which I am good with. Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
Not trying to be a dick or hard to work with but 4 day a week Sims will probably be a deal breaker for me. I'll miss most if not all Friday Sims once everything gets back to normal due to racing and/or photography for paper once school starts back up.

Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
I had no problem with team news at 4x, while also doing some heavy lifting with features and podcasts, but I know everyone's situation is different. I'm good either way.
I did vote to go back to 3x because that was the original plan and I'm sure original dissenters were expecting the same after conceding to the change. Plus I expect the world to start to move back to some normalcy (whatever that is). I'd hate to see sim fatigue set-in if that were the case.
But, however it ends up, still the #bestdamnleague.

I found myself posting maybe a bit less, but the content I did post was more involved, if that makes sense.7teen wrote: ↑Sun May 24, 2020 2:44 pmI know I posted a little less, but I don't think it had to do with the 4-sims as much as I found other things to do as oppose to sitting on the forums all day. I would be good with 3 as well. There are some hills for me personally worth dying on, this isnt one of them.

Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
I always preferred 3, but I'd certainly concede 4 ended up working fine given how things have been shut down and such. Regardless of which wins out, I'll be around.
But I will caution, as things seemingly return closer to normal (whatever that means), it's possible 4 sims per week will be tougher for people to manage compared to what they did the first go-around. I'd think as things seem to be in a bit more of a normalization phase (or at least more normal than the past few months -- i.e some going back to work, etc.), it'd make sense for the league to normalize to what had it had traditionally been. Just my thoughts.

Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
I voted 3 mainly because we are getting used to a new version. But if the league goes with 4 I am fine too.

Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
I really like 3, its gives you time to look at your team, analyze what moves you need to make rushing through the season isn't what we have been doing all these years...I do understand most of you have more time because your out of work or working part time...
Anyways it just my opinion...

Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
I went with 4 because of my work situation. I could really use the continued distraction, but it's purely for selfish reasons and I would understand and support a move back to three sims for the league.

Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
I'm fine either way, but I'd like to suggest 4/week during the off season is beneficial...at least up until spring training.
I think my perfect world would be 3 sims a week in ST and the regular season, then 4/week in the post-season/off-season.

Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
I'm looking for 75% here for 4 sims
Leaning very heavily towards 3.
A compromise would be to have a fourth sim every other week.

Re: 2043: 3 or 4 Sims?
Most dont seem to care so why not just stick with 3. Things seem like they might be getting back to normal before the end of the 2043 season so more people might not have the time then and 3 might just be better overall.
