Why are the Crawdads so bad???
A third of the way through the season and the Crawdads are one of the worst teams in the league. What the heck is going on? I cant figure it out...HELP!

The Crawdads are an interesting case study. Lots of pieces don't seem to be matching up particularly well, but the only thing that seems clearly a talent issue is defense. Delgado has crashed a bit, and you can see some holes elsewhere here and there, but the 'Dads shouldn't be this bad otherwise. Sometimes you just have a weird year, though.
And I'm wondering when we'll see Jim Armstrong--who probably should already be up, but once you've gone this far you should probably go the whole way, so I'm assuming it will be mid-July or so.

Can I pick three? 4th and 5th starters are basically guys that have to get 5 runs of support to win, and this isn't a good enough offense for that. The offense is held back by a poor OF, and no one is helped by the abysmal OF defense. The IF D is only adequate.
