Last JL WIld Card?

Post by RonCo » Fri Feb 15, 2019 5:18 pm

Mexico City will finish the year with five rain-out games. Their magic number is 3. Win three and go to the playoffs, win 2 and they tie with Huntsville. Win 1 and Huntsville goes straight-out. So, what happens?

I think he gets it right away. Worth noting that as a result of the rainouts, all of the geoghegan teams gets to set rotations for full rest.

Which is great news for me because I lost Rafael for 6 weeks on Sept 11th. Could potentially get him back at some point now (especially if some series go the distance early in playoffs).

IT's good for injury recovery but, as Fred notes, possibly bad for rust development.

Given the state of my pitching staff, a Rafael who hasn't pitched in almost 2 months will be an improvement over nearly anyone lol.
