With 40+ games to go, we're into the home stretch. Lots of great pitchers dueling for the hardware right now. Who wins in the Johnson League?
Enrique Gomez (14 - 4, 2.93 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, 128 K), Rockville
Heinrich Peithner (9 - 5, 2.94 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, 130 K), Huntsville
Felipe Baez (10 - 8, 3.34 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, 129 K), Mexico City
Arthur Dempster (14 - 5, 4.06 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, 170 K), Rockville
Dan Cannon (12 - 6, 3.42 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 149 K), Rockville
Egbert Behner (13 - 5, 3.51 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 140 K), Jacksonville
Jubal Troop (11 - 7, 3.28 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, 170 K), Montreal
Hector Amaral (8 - 7, 3.75 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, 159 K), New Orleans

Re: Way Too Early JL Nebraska Prediction
Since it wasn't listed (and is the most important stat, imo), here are all of their FIPs:
Gomez - 2.38
Peithner - 3.27
Baez - 2.98
Dempster - 3.31
Cannon - 3.45
Behner - 3.63
Troop - 3.57
Amaral - 3.76
Kondo - 3.51
Peithner and Baez are dark horses, I guess, but it would take an epic collapse in September for Gomez to not be a shoe in. He could not pitch another game and still finish with the most WAR of the group.
