Montreal's Final 2034 Win Count?
Against all pundits' predictions, the Montreal Blazers stumbled out of the gate at 14-29. Amazingly bad. As in 52 wins bad. We know that's not going to hold, right? Tell John that's right, please.
I mean, regression to mean has to mean something, right?
The question, however, is how high can they go? What will Montreal's final 2034 win total wind up at?

67-52 to get to .500. He has talent, but not sure how he can do it at this point. 70-74, 75-80 seem to be the call at this point. Went with the former.

Re: Montreal's Final 2034 Win Count?
Does nobody remember our horrific start in 2031? Or that we went 9-27 in one stretch last year? They just outscored us 20-9 and were a late collapse away from sweeping. I wouldn't be surprised if they were 4th/5th in the division and closing in on .500 at the all-star break.

I see no reason they can't play at least .650 ball from this point and approach 90 wins or even more.

This seems to happen in the JLA almost every season. In 2026 I had the worst record in the BBA on June first and went on to win the Landis. Tyler has done the same thing two or 3 times. For my money Montreal is the 2nd best team in the division and when all is said and done they will finish 2nd, maybe 3rd(CCJ) and definitely make the playoffs. Don't ask me how many wins though. Statistics aren't my thing.

Whoa. Not a lot of respect for the first place Pikemen there.ae37jr wrote:This seems to happen in the JLA almost every season. Just my opinion. No disrespect. I've also been saying for the past several seasons that the JLA is the best division in the Brewster. There are no easy wins in this division.aaronweiner wrote:Whoa. The JLA has been full of interesting teams... as well as the dastardly Hurricanes.

The JLA is pretty solid. Nashville is probably the closest thing to an 'easy' win right now, but they are perpetually a thorn in my side.
