Re: Who Takes the Landis
Having been out of touch for a time, I found it easier to vote for the Johnson.
Hmmm... Not sure that came out quite right.

Looks like it's New Orleans's to lose, but of course that means Brooklyn will win it.

Re: Who Takes the Landis
I sort of started to. While I have no regrets on trading Whiten, I do kind of wish I had Glendenning back though. But on the other hand Holden Blackwell has been my best hitter in the playoffs and the financial flexibility helped bring in a handful of scrappy players(Ardon, Felix, Ortiz...). I'm just glad that we're still the underdogs here in this final series.JimBob2232 wrote:I really was thinking about blowing my team up around mid-season...glad I held on!

I didn't make any significant moves this year...but I wish I still had Waller...who I foolishly traded to Indy.ae37jr wrote:I sort of started to. Re: Who Takes the Landis
Yes and no. I'm in the process of buying a house so every night after work I've been spending countless hours on realtor.com. But last week I had an offer on the table while the sims were on hiatus. The suspense on both ends was intense. I was like "something happen already". At least I won the Cartwright and avoided going 0-2 on the week.RonCo wrote:The wait must be killing you.

Two years after Cali sets the record for fewest regular season wins to earn a ring, Brooklyn ties them (and with a 79-83 PYTH)agrudez wrote:I think heads will win, but tails has a roughly equal shot at it, too.

For some reason I always outperform my PYTH in OOTP. In an old online league I was +10 and +8 wins in back to back seasons. I think it has to do with my game strategy and sliders.udlb58 wrote: Two years after Cali sets the record for fewest regular season wins to earn a ring, Brooklyn ties them (and with a 79-83 PYTH)

Re: Who Takes the Landis
I think it has more to do with putting hacks in the field and then using defensive subs when I get the lead. I usually don't run up the score. But in games I'm behind, those bats stay in it till the end. Maybe we trim a few runs off a blowout.
