Re: 2063 Cartwright Cup
I think Charlotte in 6. I think my offense is one of the worst I’ve had since I took over Charm City. That said I think my pitching staff is the best I’ve had since I was hired as GM. Should be a great series. Terrible luck to Charlotte. Hopefully we win.
I have Nashville in 5 on the other side.

Re: 2063 Cartwright Cup
I just don't want to see Charm City VS Nashville.
Is Joe Natta going to play tonight?
Had a tough decision with Takuda. He is day to day for 5 days, which would line him up for Game 5. Technically I could pitch him with a D2D, but he is made of glass and probably gets hurt on pitch 1, leaving a lot of randomness. And throwing him in game 5 is pointless as I'd still need another starter. If his injury was 4 days instead of 5 it would make things a lot easier to navigate. Of course all of this mental chess is pointless when Nashville is going to sweep us.

Re: 2063 Cartwright Cup
There's competition to get into the playoffs but man it sure seems like you could just pencil in Nashville, Charm City, Charlotte and Twin Cities as the final 4 teams and be 75 percent right 4 out of 5 years.

Re: 2063 Cartwright Cup
I agree. I am sick of seeing the same teams(including Twin Cities) in it year in and year out.
I'm always open to a team swap with a really bad team if anyone is interested. But know that my farm sucks, I have no bonus funds, have one of the most expensive stadiums in the league and I spend my excess cash like a drunken sailor, Including ove $10 mil a season in misc player expenses well into the future. I've been due to fall on my face for the last 5-6 seasons. And with this new crop of youngsters coming up around the league, it will likely happen soon.

Re: 2063 Cartwright Cup
I thought about activating Natta but it’s basically been an entire year since he played so I would hate to have him come up in key situations at bat or get into a game on the mound and play with a year’s worth of rust. It would feel bad if he cost us a game when it could have been somebody more prepared in that spot.ae37jr wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 5:57 pmI just don't want to see Charm City VS Nashville.

And yet somehow you find a way. Don't always make it this far but you succeed.ae37jr wrote: ↑Fri Jul 25, 2025 6:55 pmI agree. I am sick of seeing the same teams(including Twin Cities) in it year in and year out.

I mean this as a sincere compliment: I can't quite figure out how you do it. And I do study how teams are winning, even though I may not be good at implementing what they do. Most of them I can figure out what is working. But yours is a bit of a mystery to me.
