Huntsville(Chicago) received:

IF Miguel Valdez

Hoping to compete for a playoff spot in 2037 the Blazers traded for five time All-Star and 2032 Eagan Award winner Velazquez. Velazquez pitched decent but with Montreal's playoff hopes in the dust he was traded to Omaha at the deadline. In return the Blazers received 25 year old 3B Bill Wilkins who hit over .400 after the trade that year. Unfortunately for Montreal Wilkins recorded just 126 more BBA plate appearances in his career.

Valdez was a 18 year old, glove first infielder. He came up with Chicago in 2042 at age 23 but has been mostly a defensive replacement his entire career. He is still with the Black Sox but he tends to make several trips between AAA and the BBA every season.

Moelling was the real prize of the trade as he was the 24th rated prospect at the time. He made his debut with the Black Sox in 2039 at age 20 and has a 94-74 record through 2046 after climbing to number 10 on the prospect list. On his resume he boast a No-Hitter, a one-hitter, and a two hitter to go with his two All-Star game appearances and 29+ WAR. Facing salary cap concerns following the 2046 season Chicago traded Moelling to Charm City for 26 year old SP Jim Wilkinson and 21 year old IF Asil Colason.

WINNER:
Chicago easily wins this trade. Despite the fact that Wilkinson and Colason are not as talented as Moelling Chicago is still reaping the benefits of this trade. Montreal basically got nothing in return for Moelling or Velazquez.
