I'm curious to the reasoning of why Jedidiah Marzuq is on this list, yet others like Carter Cramer are not. Cramer has less MLB service time, is 3 years younger and is night and day a better player.

Even with the 50% weight, no Luke Cage?!

Marzuq is a prospect who spent a forced season in the big leagues as a Rule 5 pick. He has followed a very non-traditional path as a prospect and as a result is difficult to classify. For the record, he has 356 PA at the BBA level, compared to Cramer's 603. Marzuq is nowhere near fully mature despite his age. I have attempted to include Rule 5 prospects like Marzuq in the rankings.

Cramer is a fully mature player and not a prospect. I think the correct question to ask is why is Cramer in AAA?

For the record, I don't care what Nashville does with Cramer. I hope to bring Marzuq to the BBA this season as soon as he can demonstrate that he is ready. Then neither of us will have to worry about his inclusion on the list going forward. We can instead fret about whether Suds or Petru should be on the list next year.

My initial response to this question was "Not before Jessica Jones," but then I realized that it was a nickname.

As a 50 potential he starts with a raw score of 6. After getting dinged 20% for Medium risk, he receives bonuses of 25% for high work ethic and another 50% for playing shortstop, netting a value of 9.3.

My methodology is open source. I welcome inputs as to how we can improve this. I like Lucas McNeill, Jr. Is he a Top 100 prospect? I'd certainly take him over many on the list. How can we fix this?

So you just added him cause he's your guy? Or is there a plate appearance cut off? I just find it weird that an underdeveloped player about to turn 26 with over a years service time in the BBA is one of the top prospects in the game.

I did not single out Marzuq, but I did try to include players with limited big league experience but without rookie status who are in the minors and look like prospects. The following players are included:

#12 RF Tony Cochran, CHI/AAA, age 23. He has 101 BBA PA. He is currently rated 40 out of 70.

#73 CL Juan Alonzo, LOU/AA, age 22. He was a rule 5 draft pick and has 167 days of major league service time. He has 45 BBA innings. He is currently rated 40 out of 65.
