2062 - Top 100 Salary Percentiles and Distribution

Having just acquired two very pricey starting pitchers, I was experiencing some minor buyer's remorse. It got me thinking about the league's salary distribution. Here's a graph of the league's salary distribution. I used the dataset of all BBA players earning more than the league minimum. This only lists 2062 salaries; it does not consider total contracts.

Here is a list of the teams that employ the top 100 salaries. I was surprised to see our Atlantic Division rival Charlotte ahead of Nashville.

I’d have been right there before I traded Ramos.

I think Bikini should have only 1 in Jon Brown. Meza ans Nakamura are not on the list. Interesting, though.

Oops. I'll fix it. You're doing a great job of fact checking my posts. :)

Speaking of buyer’s remorse. I didn’t love the Vargas contract when I signed him but it’s been worse than I feared. He’s put up a little more than 1 WAR per $10 million he’s been paid so far. At least he makes a little less next year.
