2051 Season RPI

Frick League RPI #1



The Yellow Springs Nine sprint out to the early lead in the Frick League on the strength of 10 road wins and just 2 home losses. The Black Sox are a close second getting a boost from their pythagorean.

The Twin Cities River Monsters are in rare air as they take the third spot with a 10-7 road record. Louisville and Nashville round out the Top 5 with strong win/loss records at home.

The Pacific dominates the Top 10 with Vancouver, Sacramento, Portland in the six, seven and eight spot and the outlier Omaha of the Heartland in the nine spot. Valencia rounds out the Top 10.

The bottom group is San Fernando, Seattle, Des Moines, Long Beach, Madison and Hawaii. Madison and Hawaii are struggling to get wins on the road.

Johnson League RPI #1



Mexico City tops the first RPI of the season in the Johnson League with an 8-1 record at home and a .673 pythagorean win%. Charlotte is a close second going 12-2 at home and a pythagorean of .735. The edge for Mexico is a .725 weighted winning % to .617.

New Orleans, Jacksonville and Calgary round out the Top 5.

Rockville, San Antonio and Phoenix are the next three teams just small percentage points from each other while Atlantic City and Las Vegas are number nine and ten. Vegas has a 6-1 home record but struggles on the road with a 5-12 record.

Boise, Montreal, Edmonton, El Paso, Brooklyn and Charm City represent the bottom group. These teams have losing records at home except for Edmonton and all but Boise has losing records on the road.

Frick League RPI #2

Yellow Springs and Chicago remain at the top of the Frick but come back to the pack. Vancouver rides into the third spot while Nashville lands at the four. Sacramento displaces Louisville and takes the fifth spot.

Louisville is at number six while Twin Cities sinks to the seventh position. Valencia jumps Portland to eighth as the Lumberjacks get toppled to ninth with Hawaii jumping from last to the Top 10.

Des Moines, Omaha and San Fernando are within striking distance of the Top 10 while Seattle, Long Beach and a sluggish Madison round of the RPI.

Charlotte and Mexico City change places in the second RPI with the Cougars edging out the Aztecs. New Orleans stays at #3 while Phoenix goes from eight to four as Jacksonville drops out of the Top 5. Calgary maintains their spot at number five.

Rockville, Jacksonville and San Antonio occupy the six, seven and eight spots with Atlantic City and Las Vegas rounding out the Top 10.

Montreal and Edmonton are on the verge of cracking the Top 10 with a big week. Boise and El Paso are struggling but could both get hot at any time.

Charm City and Brooklyn round of the list as the Jimmies struggle at home and the Robins have problems at home and on the road.

Yellow Springs remains at the top and extends their lead in the Frick League over new second spot Sacramento. The Mad Popes have improved that last few sims and have moved up from fifth to second. Another team that has been hot of late has been Valencia. The Stars have made their ascension from eighth to third on the index. Portland moves into the top 5 at four while Nashville loses a spot to the number five.

Vancouver drops a bit from third to sixth but still maintains a bigger margin over Des Moines, Chicago and Louisville. Des Moines has moved into the top 10 while Chicago and Louisville have slipped down. Omaha is number ten maintaining a slim lead over Hawaii and Madison.

Twin Cities has dropped from the top 10 to number 13 but have a sizable cushion over San Fernando, Seattle and Long Beach.

The Top 5 teams are the same but a different order now as Phoenix makes their way to the top spot. The Talons 38 road wins lead the Johnson League and power them to number one. Mexico City is still second and is trying to maintain the pace set by Phoenix. Charlotte drops to third with New Orleans slipping to fourth and Calgary still at number five.

Atlantic City and Las Vegas vault to the number six and seven spots while Rockville drops to eighth. Montreal and Boise break into the top 10 while Jacksonville slips out of the top 10 but are within striking distance of Boise. El Paso and San Antonio sit at twelve and thirteen followed by Edmonton and Charm City grouped tightly. Brooklyn has improved a bit gaining 0.035 points but still bringing up the rear.

Yellow Springs is still the top team in the Frick but they have some company as Portland, Nashville, Valencia and Louisville are all hot on their heels. Sacramento drops from second to sixth as their scoring drops as of late while Vancouver, Des Moines and Chicago all drop a spot with Twin Cities leapfrogging from thirteen to tenth.

Omaha, Hawaii, Madison and San Fernando are the Third Tier teams with Seattle and Long Beach bringing up the final two spots in the Index.

Calgary makes their move to the top spot as they bump the Phoenix Tallons to the second spot. New Orleans creeps up just .001% points behind Phoenix with contenders Mexico City and Charlotte rounding out the top five.

Atlantic City has a stranglehold on the sixth spot but Las Vegas is beginning to make a move as they close in on the Gamblers. Boise, Jacksonville and Rockville round out the top ten.

Montreal, San Antonio and El Paso remain in striking distance of the top ten while Charm City, Edmonton and Brooklyn bring up the rear.

The Nashville Bluebirds take flight and move into the top spot in the Frick as they displace Yellow Springs and Portland. Valencia remains the number four while Sacramento switches spots with Louisville to get into the Top 5.

Vancouver, Des Moines and Chicago keep their positions while Hawaii displaces Twin Cities and Omaha to move into the Top 10.

Madison pads into the number eleven spot followed closely by Omaha and Twin Cities. San Fernando loses some percentage points allowing Seattle and Long Beach to close in on the Bears.

Mexico City and New Orleans are tied for the top spot in the Johnson League with Phoenix and Charlotte also tied for the second spot. Calgary is sitting within striking distance in the fifth spot.

Atlantic City and Las Vegas are battling it out to make the playoffs and have just .002 percentage points separation. Boise, Jacksonville and Rockville round out the Top 10.

San Antonio switches spots with Montreal and move into the eleventh spot as the Blazers fall to twelfth. El Paso, Charm City, Edmonton and Brooklyn round out the list.

Nashville pulls away from the pack at the end of the season while Yellow Springs fades and is passed by the Mad Popes of Sacramento as they charge to the Pacific Crown. Portland fell to fourth followed by Valencia to round out the top 5.

Louisville, Vancouver and Des Moines remained in their positions but Chicago slipped late in the season being overtaken by Hawaii, Twin Cities, Omaha and Madison.

San Fernando, Seattle and Long Beach take up the bottom three spots.

The New Orleans ‘Dads break the tie with Mexico City and take the top spot in the RPI for 2051. Phoenix edged out Charlotte for the third spot with Las Vegas making a final charge to get into the top 5.

Calgary fades to the sixth spot followed by Boise, Atlantic City, Jacksonville and Rockville.

Montreal edged out San Antonio for the eleventh slot while El Paso, Charm City, Edmonton and Brooklyn round out the list.
