Your staff is full of weird overachievers. Kinda fun to own really.BaseClogger wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 10:37 amI was nodding my head to the Bears preview. Re: *** 2051 Media Guide is here ****
Great jog on the Media Guide! I always start by hunting for stuff on my team and then read through the rest. I found a couple of interesting things on my team.
#1 German Romero is the 5th top guy against LHP in 2050, pretty good for a pinch hitter. BTW-He already has a pinch hit walk off homer this season.
#2 Good Cop/Bad Cop - Very accurate on the Bad Cop. I have always overpaid for 1B/DH power hitter types. I drool over the ones still in FA, but I can't find a place for them. I already have Romero and 2-3 of those guys in my minors. It is an addition, but the observation is 100% accurate.
#3 Really enjoyed Chis' preview and Backhouse is proving him right.
Now I need to read about Skeeter and the UMEBA scandal!

Thanks, yours was the most difficult because of your "combine" situation and not knowing who was actually going to make the team.KVDPoorten wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 12:51 pmWow, this is quality. Thanks to all who wrote.
To the person that wrote my team analysis; 2 questions:
- how can I hire you as an analist?
- want to trade for KARTOSUWIRYO?

I feel like I remember you sneakily liking Baird when I drafted him, albeit as a mid rotation guy.aaronweiner wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 3:57 pmYour staff is full of weird overachievers. Baird fell barely out of my top ten. Actually I did a pretty good job that year other than Tynan Potter, who lumped a little and whom I still think is a bit underrated.usnspecialist wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 11:48 amI feel like I remember you sneakily liking Baird when I drafted him, albeit as a mid rotation guy.aaronweiner wrote: ↑Fri Jun 03, 2022 3:57 pmYour staff is full of weird overachievers. Catching up on reading the Media Guide - at least parts of it! The UMEByeBye section was hilarious. Does anyone feel there is this weird parallel between the BBA/UMEBA and what is going on now with PGA/LIV in golf?
Another thing @CTBrewCrew ... I noticed the Media guide link for the the 2051 doesn't work for the website - http://montybrewster.net/media-guides-2/
