Ballparks of the Brewster
In the time honored tradition of "Make-over Mondays" and "RBBAGOTW" I now introduce the my newest feature, "Ballparks of the BBA". In this feature I will bring to life in 3d fashion each of the ballparks in the Brewster, using the same tools used by the forum modders who have created all of the historical ballparks for use with the game. Each ballpark will be an exact replica in detail for field dimensions, wall heights, and park factors. I have also worked to create all the files need to get this imported into OOTP for (what would be my dream) that all of us would have our stadiums viewable for replays w/in the game. Only a admin of the league can do this, but the process would be exactly the same as if you download and install any historical stadium from the forums. I will try to get one of these done, every few weeks, (time depending). The learning curve was a bit at first, but now that I know the tools, it should be quicker going forward. As a guide for seating capacity / layout, I have been using stadiums that have a similar size. So for example I used stadiums with a ~40k capacity to model the seat structure layout.
Starting with Park #1, my home field.....Shotz Stadium
Madison Wolves:
Name: Shotz Stadium
Capacity: 40,000
Built: 2036 (35,000)
Modified: 2045 (5000 capacity increase)
Surface: Natural Grass
Dimensions: LFL 340, LF 370, LC 390, CF 404, RC 395, RF 380, RFL 345
The Stadium has a mini-monster from LFL to CF with a wall height of 20 feet. The remaining OF walls are 10 feet. The park does not favor, HR, 2B, or 3Bs, all park factors of .860 or lower. However if you hit for contact this park is for you, with a PF of 1.100 for both LHB & RHB.

Sacramento Mad Popes
Name: The Basilica at Muskrat Slough
Capacity: 55,000
Built: 2046
Surface: Natural Grass
Dimensions: LFL 345, LF 373, LC 420, CF 417, RC 420, RF 373, RFL 345
The Stadium has a unique feature of having 3 foot high walls all around the stadium, allowing for a real fan friendly experience while watching a game. I mean you feel you are right in the action. Taking a look around Muskrat Slough, the outfield bleacher in the LC & RC are known as the "pews", where its $5 admissions, and $1 beers. They have developed a reputation, having their own version of the "Philadelphia Snowball", tossing stale communion wafers at opposing players. Luckily, they sit next to the fountain/pool in CF, better know as the "Holy Water". Church spires adorn the of façade, where its rumored the pontiff himself has luxury box for when he's in town. The park plays well for Pitchers, with hitters having almost no chance to hit a dinger here, with a HR PF of .800, but if you get one in the corners of by an OF, you can run! Doubles and Triples PF are 1.141 & 1.113 respectively. I will post additional I'm-game images once I get them imported into OOTP 22.

Phoenix Talons
Name: Paul D. Lunn Memorial Stadium
Capacity: 49,900
Built: 2029
Surface: Natural Grass
Dimensions: LFL 345, LF 360, LC 370, CF 420, RC 365, RF 345, RFL 330
One of the landmarks of downtown Phoenix, Paul D Lunn stadium is proud to be the only BBA stadium with in-house Denny's restaurants throughout. So if the Talon's batters aren't hitting a "Grand Slam", you can sure to find one at one of the many in-stadium locations. Dominating the left field view is their 100' tall "Talon-JumboTron" sponsored by Denny's. In RF, the leagues finest "Subaru Luxury Suites". Here you can watch a game in the comfort of 72 degrees, while the players are sweating their asses off in the 100+ plus heat of the Arizona summers.
I'll post the OOTP in-game images tomorrow. I wanted to get this one out today.

Re: Ballparks of the Brewster
My favorite view is from the batters box. It reminds me of old Tiger Stadium.
Very nice!

Nice!
Though one has to wonder about the advertising rights. Not sure Shotz Brewery (of Laverne and Shirley fame) would appreciate the Budweiser advertisement below the scoreboard. Unless one assumes Anheiser-Busch bought out Shotz at some point and just kept the naming rights to the stadium as is.
