Full disclosure, the last sim flipped the results for the season long award, as Yellow Springs held the overall lead despite not winning a single month of the course of the year. Alas, it appears Ron resting his starters (and those guys getting knocked around in those short stints) might have bitten him as @bcslouck and his Charm City Jimmies rode up and snatched the season long crown away, winning the inaugural season-long Caleca title.

Some other notes include the Heartland stuffing 4 playoff teams in the top 8 (despite being the only division to not take a single monthly title), but every single division has a team in the top 5. Breakdown of playoff team placing below.

So after going all last season without a winner, the Heartland finally gets off the schneid thanks to Louisville and their strong start, which has to make gm @sjshaw feel good about things. A strong Pacific contingent of Sacramento and Hawaii round out the top 3, as all of them pitched in pitcher friendly parks and STILL managed to outperform their projected score (Sacramento actually had the highest raw score of the month, but the adjustments swung the title to Louisville).

Another month, another first time winner in the reigning Brewster Champions Omaha Cyclones. A very workmanlike performance earned @niles08 and crew a comfortable win. Interesting to note that only three teams have been in the top 10 each of the first two months of the season, showing some variance and marking it that anyone is in the Caleca running any given month.

We have our 2nd repeat winner, and the first one to win in multiple seasons, as San Antonio backs up their win from Sept/Oct 2046 with another win here, this time with @hetz23 at the helm. Chicago and @allenciox nearly pulled off their first win for their namesake award, but it was not to be. With Omaha and Sacramento falling just out of the top 10 (11 and 12th respectively), that leaves just Las Vegas as the only team with top 10 finishes every month. Of note on the bottom, El Paso rebounds from back to back last place finishes to notch a respectable 18th.

GM @niles08 and the Omaha Cyclones become the 2nd team to win multiple Caleca awards in the same season (and the 3rd multi-winner overall) as they cruise relatively comfortably to the title. It wont come as a surprise that they currently lead the overall season standings as well. Just shows that just because you pitch in a hitters park doesn't mean you can't have success on the mound. On the downside, El Paso has regressed back to the bottom following a brief 1 month departure towards respectability.
